As an instructor, John guides his pupils from beginners to advanced in many musical genres. His curriculum includes methodologies addressing:

• Rhythmical articulation
• Performance technique
• Guitar construction
• Ensemble playing
• History and theory

John teaches at the Haverhill Music Center in Haverhill, Massachusetts, and The Musical Suite in Newburyport, Massachusetts. John brings all of his students together periodically for educational workshops and to play ensemble music.
